Travel Club
Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be to experience first-hand the diversity and commonality of mankind and to explore the places of historic importance.
 
General Learner Outcomes
The GLO that will be addressed by this organization is the understanding that it is essential for human beings to work together.
 
Standards
The standards that will be addressed by this club are:
  • students will understand and respect the myriad of ways that society addresses human needs and wants;
  • develop skills and attributes that are critical to a person's ability to successfully navigate the world in and out of school, at work, and at home: thinking and reasoning skills, personal qualities, skills for managing resources, interpersonal skills, skills for managing information, and skills and knowledge related to systems; and
  • learn to judge the past on its own terms and use that knowledge to understand present day issues, problems, and decision making.
Membership
Membership to this organization shall be open to all Kaimuki High School students.
 
Dues
The dues shall be $5 for the school year.  Only members who have paid their dues for the school year will be included in the yearbook picture.
 
Meetings
Regularly scheduled meeting will be held monthly on B-1 bell schedule days.
