10th Annual Community Graffiti Cleanup
September 20, 2014, Saturday - Join the T.A.G. (Totally Against Graffiti) Team and beautify our neighborhood. Flyer and volunteer form are included within.
Foodland's Give Aloha Program Can Benefit Project Graduation and/or the KHS Foundation
During the month of September, donations given to Foodland for either (or both) of these causes will generate an additional matching (based on percentages) donation from Foodland and Western Union. Donors need to have a Maika'i card to take advantage of this opportunity.
SURVEY: Early Release for March 3, 2015 Testing Schedule
We will be havng an early-release time of 12:40 p.m. on March 3, 2015. The regular bell schedule will be suspended to accommodate the following tests: ACT (Gr. 11), EXPLORE (Gr. 9), and PLAN (Gr. 10).

Our Kaimuki to College Program Hits the News!
HawaiiNewsNow spotlights this initiative that allows our high school students to earn college credits on our campus.
‘Ōlelo Youth Xchange Media Club Starts March 5!
Earn community service hours and train with the Kaimuki ‘Ōlelo team. Once you're trained, you'll have the opportunity to go out into the community, shadow and collaborate with their advanced volunteers and work on bigger productions. You can also choose to work on your own individual public service announcements as well.

Chapter 19 (Hawaii Administrative Rules) Expanded To Cover Electronic Cigarettes
Possession and/or use of electronic cigarettes is a Class D (contraband) offense and any student in violation of the rule will be subject to disciplinary action. The e-cigarettes will be confiscated and not returned.

Congratulations to KHS Senior Robin Henski Who Won Her Bracket in the Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon!
She took first place in the female, 14 - 19 age group, and was also the youngest racer in the group.
Congratulations to KHSPAC Students Who Placed in the Hawaii State PTA Reflections Program.
They submitted dance videos based on the theme of "Believe, Dream, Inspire" and will go on to represent our State in the National PTA Reflections competition.
